About Me Now

Well, I’m an early childhood teacher who works with a gorgeous group of preschoolers and an awesome sidekick. I have grown so much as a teacher while working with this little mob. They’ve challenged me and forgiven me, they’ve taught me and made me laugh.

I am passionate about beautiful dynamic learning environments that are based upon children’s interests … I love being creative and doing things on a budget … why buy it, if you can make it? … I believe in open ended multi-use materials for children … I think we should do more with natural materials … sticks and leaves and twigs and things … I hate negativity and whinging for no purpose other than to whinge … I take a little bit of this and a little bit of that and weave it into my philosophy and teaching practice … I didn’t think I would like preschoolers, but they grow on you like  … a second skin!
